This piece was part of A Gallery of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones Inspired Art Show, curated by A Song of Ice and Fire illustration-alumni John Picacio, who graciously invited me to create a piece to be hung alongside his work and the work of a dozen other amazing artists from around the globe. The painting started off as a charcoal drawing on mounted paper before going over it with oils.
